My Writing Journey
Many people have asked me, "How did you manage to write a 350 page trilogy while homeschooling and raising three small children?!" Well, although unconventional, this was my method: When we only had my oldest son, I would take him to McDonald's and let him play for three hours or so (until he got tired of it), and I would type like a banchee. When we had two kiddos, I would drive through a nearby neighborhood until they fell asleep in their carseats. Then I would pull the minivan under a shade tree and type my brains out until they woke up. When we had the three children, my gracious husband would send me out every Wednesday night with my laptop, and I would close out the local Starbucks or Three Bean Cafe. I found that I could make the same 16 oz. latte last for four hours!
So...there's my method in a nutshell. And, that's why this trilogy has taken me 10 years to write!

The Orphan and the King Trilogy
The Orphan and the King is a tale of two kingdoms, a tale of two kings, and a little orphan boy who finds himself caught in the middle. Devastated by the tragic loss of his parents, young Wesley finds himself an orphan in a very unforgiving and cruel world. Forced to the streets to beg for survival, one unsuspecting day he meets a man who will change his life forever. In a single day he goes from pauper to future-prince, although he is to encounter many perils on his way to the crown. Will an evil sorcerer with a personal vendetta destroy the life of a child, or will true love find a way to right the wrong, albeit at great expense? Worse yet, is all of Orza doomed as the evil Prince Darius plans an all-out attack and slaughter of the Orzanian people?
Let your imagination soar to a land filled with kings and wizards, dragons and damsels in distress, dungeons, dwarfs and enchanted forests. Fantasy and reality meet in a suspenseful story of love, honor and courage against all the odds...of faith and hope...magic and mystery...treason and terror...compassion and redemption.I pray that this allegorical tale will warm the hearts and stir the souls of all who open its pages!

WHISPERS OF GRACE:
Tender Words from the Father for the Daily Refreshing of His Children
Whispers of Grace is a daily devotional whose target audience would be any person who needs to hear a tender, encouraging word from the heart of their Father God. Each daily entry is meant to be intimately personal, uniquely challenging, and faith-inspiring. Whispers of Grace is a compilation of impressions from the heart of God, complementary scripture verses, heart-felt prayers, and thought-provoking tidbits. My prayer is that, through the pages of this book, those who read may be brought nearer to our sweet Savior...That they may gain a fresh revelation of His undying love for them, His dear children...That each day they would savor the richness of His enduring grace toward them more than the day before...That each reader may be encouraged, edified, convicted, exhorted, and challenged in their daily walk with Christ, and feel the warmth of His loving embrace. My prayer is that each page would hold for them 'a timely word in due season' and would be to each person 'apples of gold in settings of silver' (Prov. 25:11).
